Our Journey
Our founders have called Tega Cay home for many years and got tired of driving to other towns to visit a brewery. So they decided to build one. The mission is to provide the local community with a family friendly place to enjoy exceptional craft beer, good food, and fast / friendly customer service.
Jeremy
President
Jeremy is a proud long time resident of Tega Cay and 26-year veteran of the food & beverage industry. Jeremy has started and exited four successful food and beverage establishments. Over the last 15 years he has served as a director for a large casual dining brand. Jeremy is joined by his wife Keron, and their son James Michael. Jeremy is a big Tarheels fan and his favorite beer is Sierra Nevada Hoppy Lager.
Brad
Head of Brewing Operations
Brad, his wife Jess, their daughter Nora, and a small herd of rescue animals have lived in Tega Cay for about 10 years. Brad began his brewing career as a home brewer many years ago, developing a passion for the science of brewing and fermentation. When he’s not fermenting something, he can often be found fishing in Lake Wylie, shooting pool, or tinkering in his workshop. Brad’s favorite beers are Highland Brewing Cold Mountain Winter Ale, and Zum Uerige Doppelsticke Altbier.
Brian
Marketing & Social Media
Brian has a background in outside sales. Brian has also started and exited a successful Vodka company. He was integral to all things marketing, sales, and social media. Brian is married to wife Alyssa and they are expecting their first child this year. Together Brian and his wife own The Southern Host, which has Airbnb’s in the Charlotte area. Brian’s favorite beer is Three Floyds Zombie Dust.
Tony
Sales & Events
Tony has over 10 years of experience in the restaurant industry. He has also worked as a technical mechanic, project manager, and supervisor within a large sales organization. Tony is married to wife Holly with 2 children. They are long time Tega Cay residents and are very active within the community. Tony’s favorite beer is Legal Remedy World Court Mocha Stout.
Jerod
Head Brewer
Jerod is the professor behind the exquisite craft beer at Model A. He has nearly 20 years of brewing experience starting off as many do, in the homebrew world. Jerod is unapologetically passionate about brewing classic beers to classic styles. We are forever grateful to have Jerod as our award winning head brewer at Model A Brewing Co.
